Crobar Beirut:

Silicon Culture Club (Beirut):

• Silicon Culture Club - a spanking new venue and home to the most cutting edge club vibe in Lebanon. A haven for house music, with residents G! & Special_K (TAG Events) snugly located in an industrial part of town, Silicon is the institution for the hip, the funky and the ass-shakin’ night-owls of Beirut.

Obviously, our graphics are as hip, groovy, funky and ass-shakin'. We just have fun doing what we do best!

B 018 Club (Beirut):
• It is always an honor to work with one of the biggest clubs worldwide, (#7 for the year 2007 according to Wallpaper magazine) B 018, located in Quarantainne Beirut. With big name DJs as DJ Tarkan from Turkey and DJ Steve Lawler from the US, as well as local residents Gunther and Stamina, we try to stick to the rules as much as our creativity can allow.
Beyond Entertainment; Beyond Experience:
• We were very proud to end the year 2007 with our work posted all over Beirut through billboard banners, posters covering street vernacular and flyers. It was a great and enriching experience working with MIX FM, NRJ Lebanon and Beirut in the Mix as well as being given the opportunity to design applications for international DJs like Steve Lawler, Yvel and Tristan, Judge Jules and Matt Hardwick.
Art Lounge Club (Beirut):
• The "Art Lounge" Series were after parties carried out during the summer of 2007 by TAG Events at the "Art Lounge" in Quarantainne Beirut. The graphic direction we took here is influenced majorly by the new club that TAG was opening "Silicon" and their tag line "plastic is fantastic." - The color scheme was inspired by the Art Lounge interior and corporate identity. It was fun while it lasted as we waited to see how many episodes we were gonna go through before "Silicon" would finally open. (Six Episodes eventually).
X-OM Club (Beirut):
• X-OM is a well known club first opened in Beirut during the 90's as the original B 018. After closing and re-opening as X-Orange Mechanique, TAG Events took over it hosting the biggest after parties in town - labels free - with the best international and local DJs in town such as Gunther and Stamina, Nick Tohmé, Shiva, Tia and residents G! and Special_K. The graphic direction taken was very much influenced by the crowd and the dark and grungy interior of the venue itself.
Beach Parties :
• These posters were created during the summer of 2007, influenced majorly by the summers' heat, beach parties and politics in Lebanon. Having the freedom to put our thoughts and frustrations into our work is a blessing and we love our clients for giving us the opportunity to release.

Posters are highly efficient communicational tools since they are accessible to wide masses of people-they are part of the street semiotic. As posters are supposed to cause a great impact considering that neither passersby nor drivers will stop to read them, they should be precise regarding the message and the elements used to convey it. In this way, an intelligible and closely analyzed poster will work as a key marketing element that is capable of conveying an unforgettable message immediately.

A poster is a piece of design whose main characteristic is the immediate transmission of a message. Among its important qualities we find vast dimensions, and the fact that they are accessible to a wide mass people.

This is why it is important for the poster to use a communicational code that is in accordance with the target audience. Apart from that, as posters are set on a specific time and place, when creating this type of project, it is important to take into account the codes –which depend on the poster context -and the specific way to decode them.

For the poster to be communicatively efficient, it must show a rhetorical content (metaphor) that can be decoded by the target audience in a specific context. The different variations of context that must be considered when creating a poster are language, cultural heritage and time, among others.
